Transcripción audio:
"I believe that happiness is in that little piece of time which one achieves to spend it in those things that one enjoys. In that moment you are free, and therefore, you are happy. And life is so beautiful that, if one does not fight for a happy life, ¿which is the sense of life?
Life slips away from you, minute by minute, and you cannot go to the supermarket to purchase more life.
The difference between the human life and the other life forms, is that you can give, to a certain point, an orientation to your life. You’re not like a vegetal that lives just because it was born. After being born you can provide some content, ¿can you?
Give life some content. Because if you don’t do it consciously, that content will be the fee that you have to pay at the end of each month for the new worthless you have bought. And so forth down to the end of your days, until one day your bones don’t get up anymore, and then, goodbye. From you it doesn’t remain neither the memory nor the breath.
We have invented a mountain of superfluous needs. We live shopping for new, discarding the old… That’s a waste of our lives! Whenever you buy something, you are not paying for it with money, you are paying it with the lifetime that you had to spend in order to earn this money.
But there is a difference, the only thing we cannot buy is life. Life only gets shorter. And it is pitiful to waste one’s life in order to lose freedom.
Impossibilities take a little more work, and the defeated ones are only those who put their arms down exhausted.
Each generation learns from its experiences, not from those of others. I do not idealize humanity.
Anyway, that’s my vision of life."
